I have seen and met these people ,once fishing in lake Ontario . On a calm windless day we were stopped setting our down riggers to a depth of one hundred and fifty feet . A sail boat is drifting towards us by the easterly current .Their sail boat came with fifty feet of our craft , a man of slight build with thick round rim glasses ‘do you have a cup of wind I could borrow“ .I reply ‘no but I have a cup of lead ill give you “. He missed my point by a nautical mile ! A small crowd of soft cheese eaters were gathering on the deck of the sail boat to converse which I wanted no part of . The captain of the sloop with his beret , crocs and granola crumbed beard ask for assistance , a tow to shore . Not likely today . I said you drift for five or six hours you will head to land .Raising my voice to say so the crowd of brie eaters scrambled to the port side of the boat causing it to lean . We hauled anchor and resumed fishing bidding the boat people , fare thee well ~ Copey
