If he sent you a link to ANYTHING, be very careful about it. I got a question from a Rusian scammer once who asked me how the thing I was selling compared to a similar thing someone else was selling. He helpfully provided a link to the other listing. Turns out it was a fake ebay page hosted on a Russian server that presented me with a perfect copy of the ebay login page. The only reason I looked twice and saw the ".ru" embedded in the URL was because I knew Firefox should have recognized the ebay login page and filled in the blanks automagically. It was the sneakiest method I've yet seen for stealing someone's ebay login info.
