1970 Power Wagon Flat Tow Question

I put a tow bar on my 1970 Dodge Power Wagon and it flat tows extremely well. However I was wondering if back then there was any information about the practice in the owners manual as my truck didn't come with one. Or if you've flat towed one and have any advice you'd like to share I'm sure we'd all like to know.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
