If yoyu use green wood for stickers, it can leave blue sta9ns through the wood at every sticker, so up bad in Ash.

Anything on the ends, the mills use paint. Or wax dissolved in thinner. Or just melted, dip the ends. Yellow glue works too. Brake fluid is the same, polyethylene glycol, as the stuff turners use, but that replaces the moisture, not slows the drying to prevent end checks. (same as the non-poisonous anti-frees for winterizing plumbing)

Stack it flat, tall stacks, the weight will prevent cupping and warping. Or band it, but you'll need to tighten the bands as it shrinks. Wood shrinks about 20% as it dries.

It'll take at least one year, I go two summers.
