I can't tell enough from the pics to distinguish WC from Power Wagon. Agreed that it's not an M37. McCabe-Powers was one of the best utility and custom body builders in their day. My '58 W300M has a factory optioned
McCabe-Powers body that looks similar in silhouette.

McCabe-Powers has a very interesting history spanning almost 100 years.

During World War II, McCabe-Powers manufactured specialty truck bodies and trailers for the Army Quartermaster Corps. Mobile photo labs, machine shops and shoe repair trailers were just some of the items that helped earn the firm an Army-Navy “E” Award on February 2, 1944. That's back when we made the best quality products in places like
St. Louis.
