i'm not sure i follow what you meant mannyc.
the 6bt is a really tight fit-the motor is 3 inches shorter than the distance from the firewall to the radiator. the 4bt is EASY(like 10 inches to spare)-i actually had a 4bt/th475 in the kaiser 725 ambulance, but decided that going camping with the family was going to require a more power(kids, dog, canoes, etc), and then i found a rust free 87 waggoneer from arizona, so that sealed the deal. out came the 4bt/th475 to go into the waggoneer(the waggy 4bt swap is the only truck i have that'll fit in the garage-so its a winter time project), and the 6bt went into the 725.
NOW-this weekend i'm putting the new rust free arizona crew cab onto my 68 W500, and hopefully i'll get the other 6bt/727/205 swapped into that truck too. I'm gettin sick of tripping over all these motors!! lol
