sounds like time to pound a metric socket on the top first the pounding will shock the rusties and help free said nut then the tight metric will 9hopefully grab the nut next i see the guys have these odd look8ing wrenches the take out stripped nuts bolt >i dont recall the name or manufacture but they had a set of these space age monkey wrenches for various sizes like 1/4 inch up to 3quart like 4 in the set >i never use that stuff cause i am like God with stuck stuff> not thee God but a god none the less > over a life time of snap on tools i can only remember a few instance that I stripped a nut or a bolt > mostly i would break them clean away > always size up the situation before you start wrecking stuff > tricks like penetration oil heat try moving the bolt/nut the oppisite direction a bit to break away rust and few wacks with a hammer held loose in your can do more damage to shock things a part ~ Copey
