I thought in 1961-71 both the axle and the hubs were different?

If memory serves, 1958-60 W300s have the same rear axle width backing plate to backing plate regardless of whether the truck had dual or single rear wheels. So to change one of those from dual to single rear wheels all you need is the hub/drum assembly.

But I thought that things changed in 1961, and the 1961-71 W300s with single rear wheels had a different axle width backing plate to backing plate from the dual rear wheel axle, in addition to the different hub/drum assembly.

Anyone remember differently?
