Keith and Manny make valid points.
To be honest your much better pulling the engine to rebuild.
The cam bearings control a lot of oil pressure. and are neglected doing a in frame.
As you said you can re-ring and change out the crank bearings but if the cam bearings are worn you'll be very disappointed.
You could run 20/40 or even 20/50 oil if you wish to make it to spring,then rebuild
Straight weight oils are a thing of the past,imo.
Truck looks Good.
You better put the "Visor" back on!
