the owner of our rural scrap yard is from china ,he and is wife run the the place . they seem to be decent people and speak poor english which makes it hard to carry a conversation with them but the spoke my language cash ! just to give you a idea about scrap in the 70s when i had my wrecker i would pick up cars while driving in the country used to get 200 dollars a full size car 5 dollars a battery and 20 bucks for a rad 15 for a v 8 block and gas was 55.9 cents a cdn gallon for red pop gas that had a strong smell and fizzed your eyes when you siphoned it ~ Copey
