the dodge engine uses a mount both 230 and 251, 237, 265 called floating power. it attaches to the front of the motor and then has a bracket that mounts to the frame of the truck. this bracket is common to both engine series. you can either add tabs to the bracket on the later motor to reach back and utilize the 230 frame holes or drill new holes to accept the 251 series mount. i believe if you drill holes for the longer motor, you will need to drill access holes underneath to run fasteners. you can call bob stahl and he will tell you exactly. i believe he did some changing of waterpumps to keep the hose routing the same. good luck. mannyc
