All good advice below.
The gun your using in reality is on the lower end of the torque rating.
A quality electric gun will have more torque
My 1/2 drive Snap On cordless develops 450 ft lb.
So I would look for a better ($$$) gun and also make sure I had at least 3/8 hose for it and at least 1/2 hose for 3/4 and larger.
Your compressor will handle the 1/2 gun although not continuously.
It will run a 3/4 gun in spurts allowing time to catch up.
So many people see Great sales or bargains on impact tools or compressors and make the mistake of not looking at the torque or CFM ratings.
Also the PSI rating don't mean that much.
Most all air tool manufactures recommend a limit in the input pressure to 90 psi.
