You might try a thin coat of liquid plastic as a sealer, easy to apply, dries hard. The coating seals studs and prevents leakage. You can also remove the studs and use silicon seal or pipe thread an joint compound as well to seal.
I removed my studs, beveled the stud holes a little where material had lifted, then sealed.
