Also after a few miles go over the head bolts/ nuts again. Another thing poped in my head. The reason my gasket went bad is the water tube that is in the block to send water/coolant up to the head was missing. Have to pull the water pump off to check for tube. Before my temp was always a little on the hot side. Bill.
