Tracta is three pieces, shafts have flat forks and then there is a big ball with slots for the forks.

But Rzeppa vs Bendix were both WWII, right? I know there were pisc in my 1/2t manual, lost for 15 years though.

The one with an inner fluted ball, and an outer ball with internal flutes, plus six 1" balls, ought to be the best, and is still used on all these independent front wheel drive sedans. Common as dirt design today.
