The larger trucks one ton and up that were equipped with positraction rear ends,were done so using a Detroit "No-Spin" locker.
No matter who's make.
They were installed at the dealer before delivery to the customer.
A ID tag was placed on the door jamb,dash,glove box, etc. I have even seen them stuck to the heater box.
Have seen many Dodge, Ford, IH, GM trucks used for utilities'(line trucks) set up this way.
IH used there own differential and housings normally except when special ordered with Rockwell's. Eaton was also a big supplier of differentials too.
