My 66 W500 doesn't have anything on the data plate indicating a posi, nor do I know (yet0 if it does. A meber here said int ehlast forum that they weren't available in W500.
I can say that the the front axle is a completely different looking deal, a split case vs third member. I don't reckon much interchanges from front to rear. Later W600 trucks did away with the split case housing.
International had a 2 ton 4x4 that I believe used some of the same axle components as the W500, but I wouldn't swear by it.
I don't know what axles the big Ford F600/700 used.
