Good idea, I didn't know a nice fiberglass cab existed till this thread. Anyways, the Power Wagon has a lousy suspension - ride and articulation-wise compared with the M37; mainly due to short and therefore very stiff 36" front leaves as opposed to softer 46" leaves in the M37. Like I mentioned, a conversion lark Carl Buckingham's is a great way to go: PW body on 1 ton chassis; ideally, V8 diesel, 5 spd, NP205 and 1 ton axles. The PW body design allows 38-15.5R16.5 radial Swampers with at most 4" lift on a 1 ton, maybe up to 40-42" tires. 1 ton chassis actually do not, paradoxically, offer quite the range of diff ratios that come on ford 9', Dana 44s and GM 10 and 12 bolts. These all go 6.50 or even up to 7.17. The 14 bolt goes to 5.13, the Ford 10.25" to only 4.56, Dana 70 to I think 5.13; Dana 60 reverse rotation for front up to 5.13, Dana 60 normal rotation to 6.50. Plus all sorts of traction diffs and other goodies like NP203 or Klune TC doublers etc etc. With a modern drivetrain one could have a fuel injected V8, a 4 spd automatic, NP205 and still have an incredible crawl ratio of 145:1 with a Klune 2.7:1 reduction box followed by a NP203 2:1 reduction box, followed by the NP205.
