I had a '74 Ramcharger with full time 4x4 and loved it. I kept track of my fuel mileage for the entire time that I had it and averaged over 15 mpg, and got up to 20 mpg. This is as good as or better than I have ever gotten with any other part time 4x4 vehicle. The traction that the old Ramcharger had was also extremely good. I even towed very heavy loads over thousands of miles with it and had no problems. I would buy another of the old Ramchargers with full time 4x4 again in a heartbeat.
