I'm an ex-T.A.(goodrich)salesman- we put lots of radials on older vehicles,there isn't much difference in suspensions over the years(if you can run them on a 90's truck, you can run them on a 50's truck,if ftront end in good shape)the only alignment difference is less toe in w/ radials as they have less rolling resistence to flex the front end to '0' toe .
I would think you'd just need radial tubes in split rims.
