I bought a M 880 also. The previous owner put a power steering box and pump on from another Power wagon. It should be no problem.
You got a lot better deal than I did. mine has 69k on it. The previous owner also took out the dana 44 front end and put in a dana 60 with lock out hubs, I have 4:10 gears. I don't know about sure grip in the rear or not, I haven't noticed yet, I need to throw away that dinky carter 2 barrel and change the intake, I want an edelbrock torker 2 intake and carb, but that will have to wait.wish I had a 440.
