If you can get dodge to rebuild it for now I would do that. It will give you time to start collecting the nesacry parts to switch to a 5 speed. I have a friend in FL with a 2000 Dodge that has given him no trouble, but who is also collecting parts to do the swap. He is also about the luckiest person I know because he just landed a used NV4500 for FREE. I would eventually go with a 5 speed because the new Dodge autos a junk, and its not if it will go out again its when.
