Our first snowfall of the year,and i am inside,warmed by the glow of the monitor.My C-3PW sits in the cold shop waiting for me to get it back on the road."Lucy" didn't come with a winch,so i am trying to install an MU-2 that i traded a Warn electric winch for. The Braden is in very good shape, but didn't come with frame extensions,l/r cable guides or f/r angle bases.The bumper i will cut and reshape to fit.This truck is not a restoration,so i don't need original or N.O.S. parts.The current exchange rate of the Canadian dollar, along with shipping costs, more than double the price to get parts to my house.What i need,i will fabricate myself.
Does anyone have photos or drawings of these parts? The frame extensions look like square tubing,as do the top of the cable guides.The angle bases appear to be angle iron(what a suprise?)with a bit of a hiccup on the bottom of the rear piece.Has anyone built these parts for themselves?
