What do you want the finished truck for? A frame off restoration back to an original for show? Do you want a daily driver, which would determine your engine/gear/tire set up? Or do you just want a tough dependable work/farm truck (that is what mine is)? Keeping the original flat head engine or replacing it? Knowing what your long term goal is will help answer your questions.
