OK, the weather has turned cold and your truck runs like crap. Make sure the air filter duct to the exaust manifold is attached. Make sure the hot air is getting to your carb. Is the little vacuum thing working on the snorkel? If it is stuck open, then stick it shut for the winter. Next check your heat riser valve. It's stuck open, isn't it. Get some serious penetrating oil and unstick it. Now you need to make sure the heat chamber on the intake is getting warm. If not, the intake exaust chamber is plugged and MUST be cleaned for your truck to run properly. This means pulling the intake manifold and chiseling the crud out of it. I used to work at a MOPAR dealer in MN in the 70's. These are common problems in the winter and must be corrected for good performance.
