I was driving down the road the other day and saw the coolest looking truck sitting on the side of the road for sale. I'd never seen a truck like this before.
I didnt have time to stop and look at it but i did get a good look at it driving by real slow twice.
From what i have seen surfing the net for info on it i think its around a 58-60 model. The body looked good except for some fading blue paint It said power wagon down both sides of the hood. It was a pick up.
I consider myself a above average home mechanic. Although most of my mechanic ability has been learned on late 70's and early 80's import sport cars (rx-7's, 280z, and such). I would assume that this truck would have much less complex mechanics and electronics. In other words im not affraid of inherent old car (or truck)problems.
Now my question is what would a truck like this be worth if its in fair running condition? And what common problems should i look out for when i go look at this truck ?
