As a fellow 5 window B1C owner I think your going to find these are great old trucks. Check out the WIP section www.p15-d24.com as I am doing a flathead rebuild on my B1. Most of the tech tips are also applicable to the the trucks and we are getting more truck owners posting on the Forum. Early next year I will have another web site up, www.pilot-house.com specifically for the '48 - '53 pilot house series. My truck, Big Red, started life as a B1C 3/4T. Out on the farm it got switched to a 1/2T passenger car rear end. My current project along with the new engine is swapping out the drive train to a 1 ton which I got from a 49 parts truck, including a dualy rear axle setup. I also have quite a few body parts for sale from the parts truck.
