I remember when I had my non-synchro gear box how much work it was shifting and back then and I figured I was a fairly good "truck" driver, until I let a "real" truck driver behind the wheel. My friend, who's a pro, shifted through all the gears, up and down, without touching the clutch. I could have cried. I got rid of the non-synchro gearbox shortly afterwards.
