I'd try re applying the degereaser then doing a hot rinse off to see if that helps.
I recall using Gunk degreaser that did leave that white film no matter how you used it.

So last summer I parked the big heavy Gold Wing bike behind the car. She wanted to go to the store immediately and couldn't wait until I got out of the shower, so she tried moving that 700 pound pig herself. Yup, it fell into the car, broke the windshield and put a nice garf in the car fender.
But who else will put up with me, 5 bikes, and PW that owns 65% of the garage.
