Best thing is to drive it; barring that, starting and running it 'til it gets to a stable operating temp and letting it run there for 20 minutes or so every week, preferably. This will keep the oil well distributed, and condensation dried up in the exhaust system, and boiled out of the engine. If you can't move it, try to raise the rear wheels off the ground, and run it in gear for a few minutes to keep the drivetrain from drying out, too. Also, the brake system will fail if not used regularly; the seals and rubbers will start to leak, and eventually will rot. Then, the first time you push hard on the brake pedal, they will not be there, and you will have a mess to clean up. To prevent this, or at least, slow the process down, every time you start the truck, after it has settled down to running, apply the brakes as if you were stopping, pressing the pedal down firmly and holding it for a few seconds, then letting off. Do this a number of times, maybe eight to ten; this should keep things loosened up, and will keep moisture from collecting on the pistons and causing corrosion to set in.
