A diagram would be a big help. As for modifying my Power Wagon, my personal opinion is as long as the vehicle is on the road and not in the crusher that is the important thing, not originality. I ran into a similar problem when I had Studabakers. The other members in the local club looked down on me for having a different power plant in my truck. The truck was rescued from a local wrecking yard and I was proud just to have it on the road. I rarely have much extra money so doing a "correct" restoration was not feasable for me. My Power Wagon is in incredibly poor shape and I will be replacing alot, so why not make changes to suit my needs? I hope I didn't ruffle any feathers but I'm still a little sore with the Studebaker club. Thanks , Rob
