I really cant stand Detroit engines! I used to work at 2 local gravel pit operations that ran alot of old Detroits, mostly 471 and 671. THey have tons and tons of problems with them. There is a general rule that a Detroit WONT run unless they leak oil and have either a cracked block or head!
