I beleive all serial nos were stamped on flat spot on left side of block just below head :
1935 pj 201
1936 p 1 201
37 p2
37 p3&p4
38 p5+6
39 p7+8
40p9+10
41 P11+12- all to this date were 201.3
42 p 14s +14c-all subsequent were 217.8
43 thru 45 no info, no,production?
46 - 48 p15s +c
49 P 17+18
50 p 19 +20
51 p 22 +23
52 P 22 + P23
thats as far as my 1952 auto motors manual goes.
Years with two numbers - higher #= larger car-no difference in specs that I could see.
