I have a 71 Dodge Charger that I dont drive much. Its far from a trailer queen but its been under going a restoration process for 10 years. At a time it sat in a garage for several years only getting drove a few times a year. The only problems I have had is that things tend to leak over time just sitting. Since I have moved to my new house with better garage and all I try to drive it more and try to at least start it every week. I have often wondered about the gas getting bad in the tank but I have never had this happen. It maybe gets 2-3 tank fulls a year. I know I should drive it more but I am affraid the idiots of the world will wreck into me sometime and I dont want to have it totaled. I think the main keys are to keep inside and start it up every week or so and let it warm up. You might want to change oil more as cars and trucks like this may tend to have more moisture and acids build up as they dont get to run and stay hot and burn this stuff off like hiway cars. Sitting outside for months and months or years is just plain hard on them in my opinion.

Wonder how tractors hold up so well. Sit outside for most of their life and not run but just a few hours a month. 2 more months and my 1995 Ram will be paid off and then its time to look for a PowerWagon. Anyone gonna be ready to sell then??? Wonder if anything in Iowa will still be around.
