Robert. In the picture you see the winch is original red. The shifter assembly is all new paint. There is a little unpainted bracket which mounts to the winch housing with 2 little 5/16" bolts. The whole assembly is rather tricky to install with the winch in the truck but it can be done. Much easier if the winch is out. There is also a special bracket that bolts to the winch frame and provides a lockup condition for the handle. There is an exploded view of the winch on the VPW site. JH
