7/16" cable. 250' capacity. I think that is too much, but if you wind it carefully and don't let it bunch up, you can get it all on the drum. Try to imagine how far away 250' is and consider that the newer LU2 winches on the W200 and W300 only hold 150'.
We are at about 2100' where I live, in the northern part of the state. It was warm, but not hot.
