I am putting my beautifully restored 1947 WDX up for sale. I've enjoyed the truck for four years now and want to give someone else the chance to own and drive this fabulous truck. It started as an original rust-free Arizona U.S. Forestry Service truck and had a professional complete frame-off restoration that was completed in 2006. It has always been stored in a heated garage since restoration. The lubricants/oils/filters are changed yearly, and it is driven weekly. Some of the restoration points are listed below:

* All seals and bearings replaced throughout drive train.
* All new u-joints.
* All new electrical with 12 Volt conversion.
* Signal-stat 900 turn signals.
* New fuel and brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake shoes.
* Fuel tank cleaned and sealed.
* The tail gate is original and a lot of time was spent stretching and shrinking, but no plastic was used so it is a bit wavy.
* New Mar-K oak bed with stainless steel runners and hardware.
* Rebuilt Mopar cab heater with front window defrost vents.
* New cab interior.
* 230 flathead Government Issue engine most likely placed by USFS when original engine was worn out.
* Engine valves adjusted during restoration.
* Rebuilt carburetor with ethanol resistant parts.
* New clutch.
* Braden MU-2 PTO front winch with all parts and levers.
* Five new 9.00-16 McCreary Superlug tires/tubes/flaps on media blasted and painted wheels.
* Superwinch locking hubs.
* Factory original 4.89 gears.
* Starts and runs like a top with weekly drives.
* Lube/oil/filter performed regularly.
