If the shifters are off the tranny and the tranny cover out of the cab, and you have a load balancer on the engine hoist (to level and tilt the engine assembly), it will pull as an assembly just fine.

Other wise removing the tranny from the engine is a little bit of work, I used the engine hoist through the cab to lower it to the floor.
