Others gave you the dimensions. What I suggest is that you make them out of high density plastic. I buy 1" thick sheets and screw pieces together (nothing will stick to it so can not be glued). I use stainless steel screws to hold the pieces together. I then cut to length and drill them.

The reason I use high density plastic is that it will not absorb or trap water. This will reduce the chance of rust forming in the support brackets (along with keeping the drain holes clean). I will never have to worry about those blocks again. The plastic comes in black or white.
