Fantastic job there Doc Dave !! I'm very proud of you !! (clap-clap). If you still have my e-mail addy you'll have to send some pics.
For those not familiar with the history of this truck. I bought it it from someone in Binghamton, N.Y. that had bought it from someone in Kirkwood, N.Y. that had bought it from the fire company. As Dave said, the truck did not have the winch on it. I bought the winch off of another parts PW. The truck did already have a PTO on it. I don't know why the fire company did'nt install a winch on the truck. The truck was extremely rusty underneath with alot of flaky rust. Dave learned quickly upon restoring the truck that there was a problem with one of the axles which he repaired. Luckily for the truck though that I bought it when I did. The owner I bought it from had a total loss garage fire soon afterwards which did cause the loss of a 1966 Civvy style PW ex-Binghamton, N.Y. brush truck. Had I kept it, the truck would have been seriously water damaged in the 2006 flood that struck our area. I did lose a 1968 W-500 PW truck in that however the new owner was able to "de-water" it and saved it.
Again, fantastic job Doc Dave !!!

Mark S.
