Yep, it's Mutual Assured Destruction, economic-style. We stop buying their stuff, and what are they going to do with a billion unemployed people, half of whom are so desperate and hard-up that they don't care what the government does to them and the other half of whom are a bunch of spoiled yuppies who grew up thinking they were the center of the world and everything should be handed to them? Every day there are riots in China, but it never makes the news. China will need to ADD 150 million new jobs in the next few years just to stay where they are. If they lose jobs, they're hosed. Assuming they can pull it off, and keep their economy going, at some point (as in already), Chinese workers are going to start demanding better pay and working conditions just like Americans do, and they deserve to get it.
