At the first of the month I gas up mr mini van . So that be September one ,it needed a quart (litre ) of oil . The fellow who owns the gas station is at war with Esso . Esso wants his place to be a self serve ,the owner wants to keep serving . The large oil company cuts him off . Slow oil and gas deliveries .He runs out all the time . Well he had gas but no oil , so I went to super chain picked up a quart (litre) . Installed said oil drove 7 miles home parked the van ,go out later theres is big puddle of oil under the van . It wasnt over filled in the crank case .Next day going to town oil light comes on no oil on the stick ! . I buy a couple of gallons (8.96 liters)at the super store untill I can take this leak some where to be fixed .This leak is now leaving puddles that are of a major concern . The van is using as much oil as as gas a big concern .OK the big turn around my friend gets his oil in from Esso , I have used all the super store oil up so while gassing up I figure I am here buy some more oil . I buy 4 litres of my regular brand of oil . add to the full mark on the stick . Yesterday I had to go to the city and took the van . I emptied the van of its contents ,if it puked on the way i would trade the van for a ride to the city and buy a new truck . The drive is two hours to the city i am waiting for the oil light no light .I drove around the city five hours doing business and drove two hours home still the light didnt come on ! When i got home and checked the stick oil was at the full mark and no puddles this morning to throw saw dust on in the drive way . So to my thinking there is oil ,(good)and there is oil out there that is (not so good)on the market and its truly a buyer beware market when you change your brands . A lesson learned for Copey . The leaks were at the front and rear seals and now no leaks ~ Copey ps stick with what works for your engine J
