It needs those side ears to sit down on top of the frame, but the problem is the bell shown in your link is for the wrong size cummins motor, its not a sae #3 bell, prob sae #1 or #2, the tractor uses a smaller version of this and its hard to determine what interchanges with no part number interchange, I am looking thru white tractor factory flwheel hosuings to try to get a part number off one that came factory with the 3.9 cummins so can search. Anybody ever seen a cummins flywheel housing casting part number decoder online anywhere??
