some sort of electronic ignition and an edelbrock carb with smaller primaries and larger secondaries. gives you better economy until you lay into it. synthetic oil reduces internal friction but dont know how much more gain you'd get from oil. im a fan of cast iron manifolds vs headers as headers usually rot after time. get a nice dual setup with flowmasters and a cross pipe if it will fit. improve breathing, reduce friction, improve ignition.
