Dave. Thanks for the warning. It seems as though others have had similar problems, and as Paul said, this should not be happening with the dual m/c systems. Maybe the massive failure of the ruptured line is too much for the protection in the m/c?
Anyway, in Idaho they used sand in the winter up until about 10 years ago. Since then, I have noticed the exhaust, bumpers, wiring, body, on all of my trucks has started to show the effects of the salt. They say Magnesium Chloride isn't a salt. That is a lie. It's chemically as much as a salt as Sodium Chloride is. I have cut way back on driving my older trucks in the winter. Anyway, thanks for getting everyone's attention. I will be looking at the lines on my '98 and 'o6 Rams more often.
