The IHCs, at least the civilian models, had the larger 5 lug x 8" bolt pattern. That pattern was real common on IHC, Ford, GMC, and others from the mid 30s on. The 5 x 6 7/8" looks to have been primarily a military pattern. The only non-military spec I've come across, besides the pre '34 Ford and Dodge ton and one half models that I mentioned above, were the '39 to '47 Ford tonnoers. But they were all 17". The comments about these perhaps being industrial or agricultural really interests me. I'll be doing more research on that. Stu
