You can buy a new with warranty for about $500o with a sae flywheel housing and flywheel, it will take a spicer 3053 a 5 speed overdrive with the transmission to transfer case stub shaft being reused with a M35a rear axles flange to match the output on the spicer305a to the np 200,buy a copy of rock and dirt magazine and you will find several used runners with transmissions listed at $2500 to $3000 guaranteed by Adelmans, i bought from there before they have become almost to popular to buy used, make sure you have that data plate on the timing cover intact and make them go take a picture of it, Rock and dirt has several offerings of brand new never instaled 4.bts for sale with or without flywheel housings and transmission, most of the jeep crowd have discovered the 4bt and driven up the price where u can buy brand new cheaper than you can buy used and rebuild it yourself, all of the cummins stuff is now being imported from china under cumins license, i just bought a brand new aftermarket sae 2 and sae 2 flywheel housings for $350 each, the flywheels are now aftermarket sae 2 and 3 for $200 each plus shipping on ebay, you will never regret doing the cummins for sure, its the most fun to drive and has powwer to turn at low rpms and tons of parts are availble to do it new from stock to wild, use pauls advice and follow is advice, his site has inspired many to do this in flatfenders, m37s, sweptine w200s and other trucks. good luck and buy a copy of rock and dirt and see who is close enuff to you to go see and hear the 4bt run. dont let the u cant find oners win!!
