The Poly is a great engine. Norm is a great guy.
The Poly's and LAs share many parts.
The Poly's claim to fame is its 'polyspherical' combustion chamber. This was the next step in Chrysler's engines after the early Hemis in an effort to cut cost and weight. The Poly's heads flow very well. Ironically, their exhaust manifolds do not and an aftermarket system is of great benefit.
