Good advice, Dave. Coupled with what Dave Ball said, Bill should be able to make the right decision. There is a huge difference in the value people put on their pets. I have a friend who considers a .22 bullet more appropriate than a trip to the vet. I can't even begin to wrap my head around that philosophy, but everyone's different.
