OT small engine woes

I have this one year old pressure washer with a Kohler XT motor. The last 2 times using it I had to pull the float bowl and needle to get it unstuck. This time I had to grab it with pliers to yank it out, the aluminum needle is corroded jamming it in the brass inlet. Crappy gas or what? There must be a brass needle I can use instead?
